Concert Band rehearsals begin Thurs., Sept. 11, 2025 from 7:30 to 9:30 pm at the Canmore Collegiate High School

Shane Oostevich is the talented and knowledgeable Music Director of the Concert Band.  Shane has his Master's degree in Education and Curriculum focusing on Music Education. Shane's musical expertise makes the Concert Band a fun and engaging learning experience for all.

The Valley Winds Concert Band is a non-auditioned group that welcomes all musicians who play wind or percussion instruments. It performs music at the Grades 3-5 levels. Currently there is a special need for low-brass and reed-instrument players. As with the Choirs and Jazz Band, potential members are invited to attend one rehearsal for free to see if the Concert Band is a good fit.
